This stairway had the typical painted handrails and pickets. It was very ordinary and after 3 kids was showing its age. We removed the lower tread and the entire handrail system and replaced it with custom wrought iron, a new lower hickory tread and hickory handrails. The carpet was also replaced to finish it out. It is now the focal point of the entryway into this Treemont home.
