This project was a complete gut of a master bath built in 1985.
The original bathroom was very dated and included synthetic marble countertops with built-in sinks, a huge matching corner tub with an awkward step, slippery-when-wet floor tile, white paint-grade cabinetry with oddly placed hardware, shiny wheat-like wallpaper, inadequate lighting, and no ventilation.
Updates to this bathroom include a functional casement window, 2 Panasonic vent fans, frameless glass, custom cherry cabinetry, free standing tub, Silestone all around, Kohler fixtures, relocated entry door and a 3×5 shower with handmade sage green tile and sable travertine floor tile. The floor is also heated which is enjoyed by the entire family, including the pets.
